Top Three Best and Vital HOUSE Artists

House - seems like this style been around forever. Most people agree that House originated in Chicago when DJs started to add heavy electronic kick drum to existing tapes. Or maybe they just played them at their house parties. Or was it Chicago' Warehouse club? Who knows.

We are talking here about mid-eighties probably, right after Disco started to fade out. And it still goes strong. Names like Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, and Larry Levan all made a history of the House beginning.

I think the reason of this longevity is in ability to absorb the other styles of music like Hip-Hop, Rock, Classical, Pop. As a result, we have now a lot of babies with the familiar names like Deep-House, Garage, Trance, Hip-House, Disco-House, Tech-House, Progressive House to name a few.

House has its own instruments which are giving it very distinctive and instantly recognizable sound: Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer - Drum machine, Roland TB-303 - Bass Line synth, and Roland SH-101 - synth.

I conducted survey during September and October on Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, and my personal musician's list to determine the best House artists.

  One Love - French DJ/Producer David Guetta is dominating right now. This is his third album and he's getting stronger.

  Discovery - Daft Punk. The French duo of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel De Homem-Christo.
